Do I need to be good with computers to use it?

Not at all — that's the whole point. You describe the problem the way you'd tell a friend ("it's slow," "it keeps freezing"), and Noah handles the technical part. No jargon, nothing to set up.

How do I know Noah won't break my Mac?

You're in control the entire time. Noah shows you the plan in plain English first, and nothing happens until you say yes — anything serious asks again. Noah works in a small, careful area on purpose. It's built to be cautious, not clever.

Does Noah spy on me, or read my personal files?

Accepted Answer

No. Noah reads your Mac's diagnostic state — the kind of thing a repair technician checks. With your permission, it also checks file and folder sizes to find what's filling your disk. It doesn't look inside your documents or photos, never uploads your files, and can't see your browser history, passwords, or screen. Nothing is moved or deleted without your OK.

Is Noah safe, or one of those scammy "cleaner" apps?

Fair question — the web is full of those. Noah is the opposite: it never scares you into paying, never nags, and never removes anything without showing you first and asking. It's signed and notarized by Apple, and a real person — Eric, who built it — is an email away at hello@onnoah.app.

What does Noah cost?

Free to download, the diagnosis is always free, and so are your first few fixes. You only start paying for the complicated repairs. Then it is one question, two weeks or a year: Noah Pass ($29) gives you everything Noah can fix for 14 days, as often as you need (fixed or your money back), and then it simply ends — it does not renew. Noah Guardian ($79/year) is the same for a whole year, plus Noah checking in on its own, and it renews each year until you cancel. Cancel anytime from Settings, or just email us.

Question 8

Will Noah fix a hardware problem like a broken battery or dying SSD?

Accepted Answer

No. Noah diagnoses the symptom and tells you when it's hardware, so you know whether to book an Apple Store appointment. Repairing physical parts isn't its job.

Does Noah work on Windows?

The Windows build is in beta at https://onnoah.app/windows — it works today and is still being polished. It uses the same conversation model and Action Log; the diagnostic tools differ to match what each OS exposes.
